Hunters Capital is in the business of building communities in an urban context. Our mission, as developers, but also as urbanists, is to steward and strengthen Seattle’s urban fabric. We believe that in order to protect Seattle’s remaining nature – among other sprawl-induced ills – the city must grow. By focusing on multi-family, mixed-use infill development and historic building restoration, we commit to growth in our Pike/Pine urban village.

However, our focus on Capitol Hill’s built environment is not superficial; every project we complete is designed to enhance its surrounding community. We take the time to create building that respect their neighbors and feature good urban design. Our new developments open out onto the street, creating a beneficial interaction between the structure’s mass and its neighbor’s, passersby and pedestrian-oriented street frontage, and residents and non-residents. These connections, seemingly taken for granted, are what make urban neighborhoods work.
