Built in 1926 as Chrysler Automotive Agency and General Motors dealership, the building was acquired in the 1980's by Michael Malone for the headquarters of AEI Music Services Inc. and then became DMX Music. Situated at the gateway to the Pike Pine neighborhood, the building is located just east of First Hill with close proximity to I-5 and the central business district. In 2009/2010 Malone's company, Hunters Capital, again renovated the building inside and out.
